we have many politicians in india like pawar, karunanidhi, sonia, raja etc who can easily sponsor these poor economies and upgrade their lifestyle. i suggest all above mentioned countries should write an application to UN forwarding and convincing it to the indian politicians abt donations...they easily can spread their money magic and NO MORE POVERTY!!
1. Is MSIL content on pumping out one lakh cars on Indian roads every month, or is it doing anything to move to hybrid / electric solutions as well? Is it not time to go green for the market leader? Or are they waiting for a Honda, or a Hyundai to show them the way? Or may be they will do something when petrol sells for Rs 100 a litre. 2. Where are the roads to accomodate this kind of growth in personal transportation ( 2 / 4 wheelers)?
You are supposed to be reporters, you are looking toward wikipedia for information? why not find out from the vehicle registration board, damn it rediff, show some class. Not even in middle school teachers take wikipedia as a credible source for reference
It's really good that we are 7 th in the World. But, is it based on our technological innovation? We must introspect this as we are borrowing technology from small country like South Korea. In my opinion we should achieve top slots from our own expertise and make the World feel our importance. As I know, we are importing technology practically for every field. I shall be happy if we could achieve this growth. Surely, China can be our role model.
India needs a canal system like the Hindus of the past who were the richest of countries. With canals not only we get cheap transport, we also get water for irrigation, which benefits our farmers.

Do not live in the 15th century. Farming is needed but not by billions but done by only 10 to 20 million people. The rest had to be moved up.

Lets also have bullock carts as well. They are safe, cheap and take in natural stuff and take out even more natural stuff. And in case they get old, we might as well steak them or grill them!!!
