Poverty-Education-Corruption
by sathyam guda on Nov 18, 2010 05:01 PM

In India and for Indians education is the first means to get into government jobs such as clerks, Tahasildars, sub-registrars, Pnanchayth executive officers (Atattenders’ jobs in such offices) and such many petty government employees (including the petty officers supervising these employees and heading these petty offices – so called Officers), Village Secretaries (IN AP panchayath level revenue employees are called as village secretaries). These people are the root cause of un-measurable day to day bribing and corruption on daily basis. For Indians education is not for inculcating culture, knowledge and values. (But all said and done every person must have right to education and get education). Simply put, for corruption in India education is not the remedy. All the above said kind of Govt employees are educated, then why they are indulging in shameless corruption and bribery on daily basis? So first need is attitudes and values must be built. All parents shall educate their children on evils of corruption and bribery. Indian mentality for corruption at all levels and firstly with the above kind of employees with whom common man has to deal on daily basis. If corruption is routed from this section of people, in no time big level corruption can be rooted out in no time.

Removal of poverty will result in better living, it will result in better education, it will result in more awareness in people & that is dangerous for politicians.
So poverty should NEVER be eradicated.
(Indiraji won the 1971 elections with a slogan - 'GARIBI HATAO'.
So so far in 30 years it should have been eradicated. Isn't it?)
You-n-Mom are just following steps

with a pittance given to sports in national budget, that also half of it being syphoned off,it is a miracle india is getting any medals at all.first get the fossil headed a33holes plaguing our parliament and state assemblies into permanent retirement, which will cut down on corruption ,put money to good use,not in social schemes like nregs where all the money is siphoned off and then see the results.

by mangesh mhatre on Nov 18, 2010 11:26 AM  | Hide replies

Only creating awareness is not enough.
Rediff should have given contacts & prices og these products.
Everybody wishes to save money. If it is accompanied by saving pollution, nothing like it.
So please put up such news with MORE DETAILED STUDY.
