Sonia cannot feign innocence about Adarsh or Spectrum scam. She is indeed a part of it. Her tryst with scam is known from Bofors days. As long as she has Chidu is her trusted accountant no evidence will be proved against her.
Yes, Maddoff cheated the investors and was promptly sentenced to 150 years of prison. How about 'Satyam' Raju, who did the same thing? His case is still being prepared. It will be another generation before his case comes to the court. If you have the money and the influence, you can do anything and stall the course of justice. No wonder the Indian lawyers and the politicians do not want speedy trials. This gives sufficient time for the wealthy to escape,and also sufficient time for the poor person to be exploited by the police.
Each of our politicians should also be sentenced to 150 years of jail and their properties should be auctioned. By the way how many of the people from this discussion board has cast their vote for Loksabha election? Jai Hind

let us start from Raja,kalmandi,chavan followed by chief minister of Karnataka and host of others who are sitting above these tainted men and have KNOWINGLY TOLERATED such corruptions and remained silent spectators when they looted the country,till the SUPREME COURT questions their silence.By which yard stick these silent men who are supposed to take action are HONEST
he has not done anthing extraordinary.Compare it with one family in INDIA which has been looting INDIA and INDIANS for past 4 generations in the name of social work and have looted trillions of dollars.
Corruption is everwhere in USA, Europe, India only difference is west wear Suit and tie so I it is called business not Corruption in west. And we wear dhoti and lungai so it is called Corruption in India. List of corrupction in west last year. Lehman Brother bank Fraud of 50 billion. Bernard Madoff $65 billion Fraud. UK MP's false claimed thousands of pounds to renovate a flat. etc.

Only Difference is: In West, people pay money to get work done FAST - or else it happens in regular way. In India - you pay money to get work done or else it wont happen at all.
He is similar to Kalmadis,Spectrum Rajas who swindle lakhs of crore rupees in each and every scandal AND INVEST THE STOLEN MONEY IN SWISS BANK / INVESTING THE STOLEN MONEY IN HOTELS IN SINGAPORE,THAILAND ETC.,
Our politicians also gives rupees 1000/- per vote and keep 40 crore indians under poverty line ( NO FOOD,NO EDUCATION , NO TREATMENT FOR THEIR ILLNESS)

The only way to refund the lost money to the exchequer is ,recover all the money from Cong & DMK as well.Because,by using this money both party won the elections.Raja sould be arrested & interrogated else he will dilute or erase all evidence.Kudos to Subramania Swamy
