It sounds good but to get that amount after first instalment from government passing through all the officers will result in suicide of farmers; In fact one time payment is better but i am sure atleast 30% will be certainly deducted before the amount reaches the farmers.
Farmers are never against projects provided they are compensated well. Besides that, they know that projects bring consumers which they can cater to by opening up shops with the compensation money. Besides, it also helps them uplift themselves from the cycle of poverty.
Its the politicians and the middlemen who are the cause of the problem as they try their best to deny the farmers, the compensation they deserve.
