If anybody has worked in Lovely Professional University in Punjab, where all HR norms are flouted and employees are treated like machines, he'll know himself why people commit suicide in Lovely.
similar conditions also prevail in a University called Lowely professional university in Punjab. people are so harassed that either they leave their job by foregoing their salry etc. or commit suicide. thanks to the media of the country who has sold its soul to rich people, such matters are not brought to anyone's notice and are kept behind iron curtains.
I have seen the production facility of a big japanese elctronics major in guangdong province in china. The conditions are very sad. The production line moves at a pre stipulated speed and the job is broken down into small chunks so that no worker's job should take more than 2 min. If any worker fails to finish his task he is supposed to press a red button which stops the belt. Then the timer starts counting the lost minutes because of him/her. It puts them under tremendous pressure. A monotonous music would be playing and they are not allowed to talk to each other. Also for those huge factories not a single production line employee is given a chair. All their jobs are done standing.
In contrast i have worked in a big corporate on assembly line and the conditions are so much better.
Why do our production line employees complain when the comparitive conditions are so much better? Hope the union leaders are listening and stop making things unproductive.

First see in India(democratic) how many suicides are happening? Why blame communism? How many people are not dying here because of unemployment, financial problems, malnutrition etc...
