India needs more entrepreuners
by Grizzly on May 27, 2010 11:21 AM

Our country has a lot of talent. Just look at the little kids that come and dance on the TV shows. Did anyone know that we have got so much talent in our country?

In the same spirit, India needs to groom its people to become entrepreneurs. Our people are buzzing with ideas.

There needs to be a forum to encourage smart people and give them help. If one smart Indian can turn his/her ideas into reality, it would create many jobs for other Indians and also our country's name will be highlighted.

Captain Gopinath

The information is half baked. Col. Saab (Captain Gopinath) has studied at Sainik School Bijapur from VI standard onwards and writing that he had to swim to reach the school is utterly wrong...

Are you trying to say there was no cast system in the past and this was invented by the west?. 'instead of taking pride in the past' what kind of pride you are talking about? Don't you realize the cast system is still practiced all over our proud nation? and you blame the west!!. How many of us ready for intercast marriage? Even people from IITs and IIMs still looking for the life partners from the same community. We have to blame ourself. Just forget your out dated theory.

impressive credetials..
by Hmm on May 27, 2010 10:59 AM

Not sure why indians get bowled over by foreign degrees or b-school degrees.. a big chunk of folks from there are not in leadership positions..

we need leaders who are individual and pratical, not bookish..

one should learn from leaders

The richest like Buffet and Gates dont beleive in dynastic rule. None of them handed over the reins to their children. They have got successors from the company who have done exceedingly well. One can take a cue from Azim Premji, Ratan Tata who have not introduced their children in business. In fact such people help outside people an opportunity to grow. However in India everyone beleives in dynastic rule whether businessmen or politicians. So it leaves very little scope to others to grow. Thats why I like foreigners because they have given indians a lot of oppoutunites abroad. If the white had adopted an attitude like indians i dont think indians would have progressed
