Lazy Indians have identified themselves with lazy cricket. Cricket is one of the least popular games in the world.ICC tried to popularise it,but failed.T-20 is the latest gimmick. This will also fail. Football is the most popular game in the world. There is no comparison of football with cricket.Cricket will remain in India,if not elsewhere, even after 100 years.Indians are not capable of playing the vigorous, demanding game of football properly.Maybe due to the frailer physical structure. Hence Indians are stuck with lazy games like cricket which is the garbage left by the British, when they left India.

Hi Ajai it seems you are ashamed of being an Indian or you are not. If you understand cricket, which I am sure you dont and you cannot either, you will realize cricket is a strategic game. its a battle like strategy where nerves and brains are tested along with skill. Surely ppl like you who have their brains in their balls cannot understand this. 5 day test crickt is a shrewd payer's delight and on day is heady cocktail of skill and speed..no other game comes close. All other games ar raw power..more so is football, which is better suited to brawny bulls with no brain, only balls..cricket is strategy dude. Just watch how Ishant bowled Ricky ponting or watch how kumble caps a batsman..u will realize its as much a mind game as a field game. You may not get this immediately..till that time, i would suggest keep scratching your balls.

true.5 day cricket was a real delight to watch but alas!it's place is being taken over by bastardised 20-20. To see a fast bowler bowl stints of 25-30 overs with half a dozen maidens & run rate of 3-5 is the ultimate delight. Also to a swinger bowl overs upon overs with 6 slips? In which other game do you get such confidence of a single player in his abilities for such a long time?

Agreed and same lazy attitude is then reflected in Govt offices and slowly in whole Nation. India is thats why a developing nation instead of developed nation.
This is the same nation where even Law is too lazy to hang terrorists like Afzal Guru and Kasab .

Cricket is a good game and is quite demanding as well requiring good amount of stamina and strength. An average footballer will get easily tired playing a full day game of cricket.
Hockey is another sport which is all Indian and should be played more.
Indians (like any other country people) are made up of people with good built to average built and do not forget India has produced some of the best wrestlers in all time (Ram murthi,Dara singh,.... and latest being the WWE wrestler 7 ft plus 440 pound Great Khali)
