I think carmakers shud devalop new models for india. we dont need this kind of bhp or power, as there r no rodes to drive at such high speeds. but the outlook can def be incorporated. So the net result would be, nice looking car, with a resonable power. at a much lower price. win win situation for everyone.
Do we have the roads and the infrasture for such cars in our country?? I would get a heart attack if there was even the smallest of the smallest scratch or bump on a 1.5 crore car no matter how rich i am!! Ouch! I think it is high time the govt realise this and start doing something about this! road sense tho! well it is upto the goverment and the people who drive joint effort!
I wish if we can drive this car on rivers... coz they have to barriers.. indian roads are not meant for high speed car... govt build highways .. but soon after they are build, u can see the population crawling next to roads along with the speed breakers..
I am happy that such cars are being imported and ofcourse there will be buyers for the same. All good and nice. But I have a question and that is a very simple one too.. WHERE ARE THE ROADS FOR THESE KIND OF VEHICLES. ok i understand that enthusiasts will buy this even if it was more than 1.5 crores but are they just going to buy and keep it in the garage? Where will they drive it? on indian roads? These cars can be tuned for indian conditions but how much will you tune sports cars plus the road discipline in our country is also kick ass. I can imagine the amount of scratches and bumps a porsche will have! God Bless the buyer!!

Reminds me of an American joke..An American went to a car show room in New York and bought the most expensive car. The sales person asked ," Sir, would you like to drive it out of here or do you want us to deliver this car to your address?" ."Neither", replied the client. "Leave it here as I won't find a better parking place in the down town".
