Faith in God is very important in life. Normally, after parents are no more, siblings begin to fight for wealth left behind by the parents.

SC has given a fractured verdit

The past CJI in expected lines toed government views. His vote sealed the fate of otherwise a blatantly pro Anil decision from High Court which followed the law rather than government views in a corporate battle where leading politicians from UPA sided with Mukesh for reasons best not discussed.Let us hope that shareholders of RNRL gets a good deal as suggested by court. It is strange that while division of assets was fine as per MOU but finer points were found illegal by a CJI whose tenure saw all controversial decisions including OBC quota in premier institutes went in favour of UPA.let us see what new post of profit awaits him post retirement.

Options for KG Balakrishnana are:

1. Minister like MS Gill (seems unlikely)
2. Governor of a State
3. Head of Minorities Welfare
4. President of India, Patil's term is not much left

KG has pleased madam and people who matter to best

The basin is a joint property of RIL & ADAG sharehold
by chanakya maurya on May 19, 2010 03:51 PM

Particularly so much more legally and for all practical purposes since the MOU arrangement of 2.34/17 yrs. proved legally defunct.

So this asset called the KG basin still needs to be divided between RIL and ADAG, between whom all the revenues accruding from the basin must be shared, or the former must compensate the latter appropriately.

RIL cannot just swallow the Basin whole for itself.

ADAG has to sue RIL and in all probabilities Badri would help divide the Basin on an equitable and practical basis.
