Unethical Standard Chartered Bank
by PS on Mar 30, 2010 07:39 PM

Standard Chartered Bank and Ethical???
I dont think that there is any relation between SCB and Ethics, atleast in India.Their experience was the worst I got and not to mention but was unethical.
Even after closing credit card and paying all the dues,I got again the same bill at my home and a goon from that bank was at my home next day.
Also when I had account in that bank, the people said that no charges for withdrawals from any ATMs in India. But still 55 rupees were deducted everytime when I used a non SCB ATM(reason was only one ATM that time in Pune and that to was not working when I badly needed money).
Their credit card sales executives were like goons who used to target people walking in a dark corner of streets.3-4 goon looking ppl use to surround a lonely person and use to give credit card forms directly. This was a common scene in year 2005 near many software companies at Pune.
Now how can SCB be ethical
Totally biased reviews.
Only American companies in the list
Another example of Sodexho
Mumbai Dabbawallahs are always ethical and best in service than Sodexho.Even Prince of England specially met them when he came in India.
Always remember that Capitalists dont have ethics.Their am is to earn profits only at any cost.
Its a joke that bunch of capitalists are in the list.

soda manufacturing should be banned in India.any project that intends to use up water for beverages or bottling should be banned.Because we are suffering from huge water scarcity.
hope people realise this.

Also Bisleri etc should be banned.
A truth about this companies
A land nearby Pune of my relative,it got good water source underground.Mineral water company agents started approaching and in their terms and conditions, they were not allowing them to practice farming because due to fertilizers used,it would affect the underground water.
I just suggested my relative that these companies will extract too much water and one day will come when there will be no water left and these companies will raise their hands up.Hence I told him to reject the proposal.Thank god,the villagers accepted it and now there is no scarcity and the underground water table is also very good there.
Also these companies dont allow the neighbouring fields to practice farming.
This is unfair but these company and their agents are practicing all unfair means.
These companies must be banned
