It is really unfair when cars that are being sold elsewhere in the world as 'regular' cars are being touted as 'luxury' on Indian soil with vastly differential pricing and that too nearly half a decade after its global launch. Why do these carmakers assume that just because we go crazy for a set of wheels, that we are immature enough to accept anything that's being dumped onto us that too at unfair price to the customer? Our markets may still be 'developing'... but we have also spread globally to realise enough!
For eg. the Honda Accord '09 where I currently am costs around INR 12.5 lacs. I suspect the price in mera Bharat mahan is a 'tad' bit more!
Well its really a great car to own. In delhi Auto expo it was able to catch huge chunk of viewers. Great presentation of Tata and it will be the reviewing car for Tata.

Mitsubishi is an Indian manufacturer? If not, why are you saying jai hind? I can't relate these two statements. Or is it just to show everybody that you are a desh bhakt?

Mate but guess its difficult to get anyhthing better at the prices they come.. Consider cost upfront and Total cost of ownership (as long as you use the car)
It is better that the companies concentrate on making the cars look good. With the state of the roads, all that will be remaining is a stationary vehicle. Atleast good looks will give the owner some additional value, while he sits there foolishly on the road waiting for the jam to clear.

Any such apparently noble intentioned talk against reservation for women in parliament and assemblies is sheer expression of men in frustration.
Ground reality is that we Indians are good at doing things only when we are under compulsion to do - like for studying before examinations and wearing helmets if there is fear of fine. Since no political party including the Congress whose leaders crow now about their commitment to the reservation bill has ever thought of giving sufficient representation to women in elected bodies, statute becomes necessary.
One would have been happy if the bill actually provided for 50% reservation instead of 33%
Also, talking of empowering women is a myth. Actually it is men who need to be empowered - to encourage or atleast tolerate the progress and achievements of women in many fields.
