Kerala ppl are like cockroaches...soon from one person in any place they grow to a million.. after having 100,000 Tea-coffee-omlette restuarant all over the gulf not they r looking for IT jobs...
these whisky and brandy suckers will work for US$10 compared to normal india person who wud perhaps charge US$80....and that's how these parasites got their way in whole Gulf. Losing India's credibility in gulf

US is a country which is paying just people of four states 1. Andhra 2. Chennai(Tamil Naidu) 3. Kerala 4. Karnataka. US companies are so fool and unpatriotic that they took wealth of there entire nation to pay in pocket of these people. Go to London, Europe, Middle east, Australia, everywhere people of these 4 states are making money, rest all are poor whether indians from other states or native country people. Yes they may talk we are hard working, intelligent, educated but are others not hardworking or intelligent. Answers lies in fact that you people play tricks and have formed a global castle of regionalism where no other person is allowed to get job and is forced to starve, China should take away all Indian IT industry, what is the use if people of these 4 states are getting richer day by day, month after month, year after year
Reading thr the messages Ppl have written it is a sin starting unions for IT employees. I can't understand. Last year in times of recession employees were made to work all night for no salary increments. Many were laid off. Still companies made millions of dollars.
I think unions would help IT workers atleast get following needs.
i) Pay for over time. ii) Stop hire and fire policies of corporate giants.

What will corporations do with non-performing IT guys? why shouldn't lack of merit and absence of work ethics be punished?

That is not always the case, the unions have way to deal with non-performing guys. Infact, the pressure happens because it impact the employee bonus.

then, how is the present situation different? only the non-performing were laid off ... not one will fire someone who is useful and delivers more than his paycheck
See how Kerala has become the powerehouse of India, we have 100% literacy, highest number of highly skilled workers. thanks to mass use of naariyal thel and naariyal paani.. we are are simble,good and hard worgking people.
