Man Mohan any way a ex burocrate, clerical & paper tiger and follow instruction from her madam sonia italia..He is no way fit to be PM. he should have made like chinese exchange rate instead rs 48 a usdollor it should have done rs 24. so the prices will crash. since oil import bill is more than 100000 crore rupee out flow of forex will be lesser. the customs& central excise duties also come down on oil, so the customer can be given petrol at rs 15 a litre. why the communists are sitting idle while they have a big content to fight & bring down the government. congressman & burocrates amassed wealth in overseas, no one asking these men to bring back to India.
Indeed a great honour to an Indian in the field of automobiles. Nano is a vehicle for Indians who are in Rural and semi-urban areas where public transport is hardly in existence. Similarly, those in urban areas cannot afford a luxury of a Car costing Rs.2.50 lacs, can look forward to own a car costing Rs.1.25 lacs like Nano. Thanks to Tata, who continues to think about India and Indians, and their contribution to Indian society is immense, we are proud of respectable Ratan Tata.
I cant take my two seater Mercedes to the expressway for the fear of being blow out by the Semi's trucks. Can nano be even fit to drive on State Highways in USA. If not why bother giving an award to a silly car; There is no innovation here, except slapping together cheap micro-compact car parts..

You are in USA.. then please don't bother about Nano.. didn't you read properly...? This car is exclusively for Indians... in India... if you are so much concerned about I93s, 495s or I95s then take an SUV... oooh or is it too expensive for a desi like you who is saving every penny away from his one people...?

Hi Sameer If at all tata nano is introduced into USA iam sure the tata group will rework the body and introduce and will do all safety checks . For now Indians are happy with Nano . so what is the fuss about mate ? rama anne syd australia

Sammer, what innovations you made so far? Tata distributes 65% of their dividend to charity for 100 years. Take a note of that. Millions people have a job from them.This is people's car to run in India, not on US expressway.

Hey Sameer. No offence but Shut the F-C-UK UP. Who's forcing you to buy the Nano? Can't contribute, then don't comment. C-o-ck Up & sit in your two seater Merc in the garage cauz you're scared. If Your expensive shit can't do it so be it with Nano. No one's bothered. Nano is a first generation vehicle, with a different intent & target audience & will certainly get tested & approved before it gets launched in various Geo's. Even then it isn't meant to a state hauler but a point 2 point, people car for incity driving - Little snippet, For the so informed persoon!

I think Cambridge University is Foolish , insted of giving Doctor of Law to Mr Ratan Tata they should have given it to Sammer for his superb thinking.

Ratan Tata should have sent someone else to accept the award. Cambridge is unfortunately the same university where thatmoron nehru studied and later became the sole cause of India's hindi rate of growth and made everyone poor.
