That is an excuse. Some religions claiming exclusive path is a form of racist/castist ideology too. Human beings always found a way to discriminate others.
What we need in India is an environment to succeed (that means good infrastructure, less corruption, entrepreneurial etc)
This is a 2005 speech of Steve Jobs. It has traversed the globe several times as a chain mail.Rediff has got its hands on it very late. However, since the contents are still relevant, not bad - rediff.

RIghtly said.. I have read this article many times previously but will not be bored to read any number of times and each time I fell inspired and motivated by this story Thanks -- Rediff
Probably the most inspiring thing I have ever read in the last 25 years; Steve Jobs so dramatically conveys what a vision and the human spirit can do in just one life. I have never been so moved by any speech as this. a pande

Rediff, i have heard for many years that they have 2-3 people sitting in front of TVs who just type the stuff that they hear on the news channels. This article further goes on to prove that they are really really doing bad & you have no quality.
LIFTING a speech made FIVE years ago and not even crediting the source. This is the lowest point.

They have mentioned the source clearly.
Lets appreciate rediff for a change. It has just 1% marketshare.
We present here Steve Jobs' Commencement address at Stanford University where he speaks about the highs and lows of life, how to counter challenges and how to fight the odds to come out victorious. Jobs delivered this speech on June 12, 2005

This speech was made 5 years ago! Wow..We have got lot of spiritual leaders but i don't think they won't influence this much (Sorry if im mistaken). I won't blame rediff for lifting this speech since it's the first time that i'm reading it. Yes, it might be my fault still there might be many others like me. For me its a worthy article. Contents are so relevant and i wish it could inspire all as it has done to me.
One of the best articles you'll ever read here, from one of the greatest IT achiever, visionary & innovator of our times.
"Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent." - thats the kind of importance this guy gives to change and innovation that leads to change.
Mac changed the way people computed, ipod changed the way people listened to songs and now ipad gives you the vision of future computing.Dont be surprised if in 10 yrs time you find todays laptops only in offices and general users only using ipad type tablets.
Google & Apple are really dream organizations.Felt good reading this whole story.
But why he sells his devices so expensive in India?
