Our lifestyle changed a lot but its not changed for good.. any one of us just have enough time to spend with children, to take care of our gardens or to just to have calm walk? we are becoming the most unhealthy people of the world, i bet.

INVESTMENT BANK is a threat / Growth
by arun prakash on Jun 11, 2010 07:29 PM  | Hide replies

All these investment banks are responsible for the current global financial crisis. Many economists aware of that but they do not want to open..

Let us talk about investment in real estate funds. The funds collects the money from from "money"hungry investors who wants to double their money in shorter version..may be in couple of years..so what is happening the investment firm investing on real estate companies make them competitive each other "who can give higher returns"..ofcourse every body wants higher returns..The result the real estate companies deliver the project with cheap resources / squeezing suppliers in the name of achievement of Quarter results...Here quality already affected...Ok when company deliver this product due to the quality they spend more money to complete the project at the end. Margin drops...investor threatens about next quarter results...so they enggage brokers to hype the market price =The result we are paying high prices for a home than the original value...Once everythings sold all the so called investment bankers take the lion share of the profit and whatever available they give it to Investors..here the investment banker's bonuses much higher than the CEO of the real estate company!!!....This is so called morden economy..Obama called them once "wall street fat cats"..Now the investor who has invested can't get the money actually he expected...

these people simply sits in a office and suck's others money. These investment bankers don't even know the spelling about "village / poor".. open the markets for world ,financial services not available for large projects in India....all these comments we use to hear now a days"

Actually i am not against the capitalism. Our banking system and the control by RBI -This is a best practice in the present world .Just because of that we are saying that we insulated from global crisis"
These banks are commercial banks which serve the normal people..when RBI put tougher regulations it affects common man...Same way make these so called financial service companies and their pay structure & bonuses come under regulatory...Let them also take the pain..I am not financial expert to explain..May be this could be a solution / Anybody from the economic subject suggests that how to control the "Fat cats" by a system....the idea is let us strongly welcome all the investments and open our gates to Global market...But also put a hidden lock and indirectly kept their wealth's under control.
Growth- i am a professional i support largly infrastructure projects...But we shouldn't forget that our base production is Agri...If agri dies one day we are going to pay higher price for 1 day food than Renting a Home.!!!That days not far if these scenorio cont..

Come on guys Before increse oil price slowly &am

Let us make every metro connected with 2 Metro cities...as well as connected with 3-4 Tier-2&3 cities.Demolish all our city road's border and widen atleast 10 -12 lanes. Make the MRT & City BUS(public transport services) to 800% growth!!...This is not joke..Let us see our recent success in Road project(Thank god atleast for this case BJP&Congress haven't play politics) Rest of the world said too ambitious..the budget going to cross 1 lakh crores..still we need some thousand crores to finish. We never ever imagine 15 years back Gov't has power to do this...Use the same power for our metros first..

Any investment now onwards divert to Tier-2&3 cities to stop the population of metros..Also investment on water projects till all the metros are ready as above said

Let us assume that this will happen in 4 years WITH Gov't's power.Let us say this is too too ambitious and Govt will turn to debt problems

Now these 4 year slowly & steadily increase the taxes for rich man's assets like middle size cars,Luxury cars& expensive cars...Put ERP system& Hike the petrol price,CAR insurance price, registration Price,Heavy traffic fines by well managed CCTV, BY doing these ways...suck the rich man's pocket. But public transport services -" any where in the city within 5 minutes waiting time and runs with 10% vacunt seats in peak hour!!! with reasonable Prices-If we do this..
Come on WE

To hell with growth. Can't we not see where it has taken us today with even vegetable and fruit prices going over the roof. The standard of living has vastly deteroriated over the years and only an elite few have benefited from these lop sided growth policies which have screwed up this Nation. The Country today is at the cross roads and is faring pathetically in all development indicators. Stop this growth mania for good. The Aam Aadmi had enough of it and does not want more.
