The cheverolet cars have no resale value. I had a UVA LT model in execellent condition merely 1.8 years old which I could hardly sale at a decent price. Finally I sold it for a loss of almost a lakh compare to Hyundai i10 or Maruti Swift. These guys speaks more of numbers and so, but I realise during the period I wanted to sell off the car not even the cheverolet resale dealers are enthusiatic to purchase a second hand cheverolet car.

You are right, I am a victim of an Aveo 2006 model; Sold it for a very poor rate. Also their service quality is in question to me!

UVA was never a popular model, and neither was Aveo, hence the low resale value.
Just as a maruti baleno or a hyundai sonata never had a good resale value.
It is the vehicle model which has a resale value and not its company.

You are a Maruti guy, buy Maruti only. Some buy what they like. They do not buy to resell.
My Spark is really a good investment with very good mileage, cooling, & comfort. After sales service is also not so bad.I will certainly recommend Spark for anyone going to small car segment.

I too have the Spark. The mileage is 14-15kmpl in city and 18kmpl in highway with AC. I recently toured 1050kms in 3 days and I have to say this is the best small car I ever drove. Hats off to Chevy
My honest assessment American Cars are never successful on Indian Roads Japanese Cars are most successful for Indian Roads. German and British Cars are Expensive, it is pride and prestige to own.
Korean and Chinese Cars an insult to own.
Better Go for Japanese Cars. Always best for Indian Roads.

Korean, the popular is Hyundai - While the Petrol is decent, the diesel sucks - all models.
If you want to own Indian, Maruti stable is good. Mahindra Scorpio and Xylo is great. Dont go for Tata. Worst service and Lousy Product Quality. Heard Vista and Manza have addressed product quality to some extent but be careful if you are going for Tata

Baba, let the second service comes into picture after 6 months. Mileage will improve, mine is giving between 11-12 with A/c.
