Composting kitchen waste
by Mathew Joseph on Jun 04, 2010 10:23 AM

I live in Delhi. For the past one year we keep our kitchen waste in a pot on the terrace of our flat and when it is filled, we put some soil over it and then cover it. Then we use another pot. After about 3-4 months the covered pot is opened and after adding some more soil, we plant a flower or vegetable.

It was nice to read this article now. I will be grateful to know the scientific method adopted in this regard so that I can do it more effectively.

Thanks,

Mathew

wealth from waste
by vaja deva on Jun 04, 2010 10:08 AM

wealth can be created from any waste either organic or inorganic. this has been done on large scale for agriculture in india itself but yet unknown to the people.
even the city sewage water which is said to contain toxic chemical wastes are converted into useful products on a large scale. yet the inventor is not known widely in india but outside india.
