GOI

India is said to be agriculture based economy and many of us still live on agriculture as its our main source of income, directly or indirectly.
The prices today have affected one and all and its real pain to see we have agriculture minister (part time) who is more into cricket.
He has paid more attention to IPLs than Dal and Roti. What a shame.
Agriculture ministry for India is as equally important as external affairs and HM but sadly its not happening.
I wonder how long we will survive with these part time ministers.

Sugar, Sugar -- How much sweet you are to Common Indian
by anuradhakumari on Jul 07, 2010 12:31 PM

Heard in one TV channel that sugar price is again going to rise drastically due to pressure from Sugar Mill wallas from Some states to Centre to put ban on imports so that they are given chance to earn windfall profit unmindful of that the Common Indian on Streets in all states and Union Teritories are weeping?
Is this news of TV channel true?

He has got a bigger pie, the icc chief post, to abuse. wold cup will be held in his tenure. imagine the amount of money he will gobble in over the contracts, rights. why will he want a petty department now.

and who ever will replace him will be no different than him. he will treat his appointment as his turn to make money..

and for the people of india.. well it makes no difference to the fish if it is fired or roasted..
