Tatas are the pride of India. They have a very respectable image in the Western world and are admired for their incisive innovation in many fields.

Its funny how Indians needs the approval from the 'west' as a reassurance..trust me, nobody in the so caled west knows tata!! the only review it has was when Nano was launched,but the american media made sure, that they talk about how Nano is banned in the US as it did not meet US Safety requirements.. we need to get out of this mentality.. tata by itself is a great company, plz we dont want some foreign ppl's second for it

Private sector is more corrupt than government sector. After all it is these private sector people who give corruption to government sector, only to make big financial scams in the later years. Take the case of Satyam Computers, Harshad Mehta Scam to name a few.

Yes ! In the middle of THAR desert. With the amount of pipleline required to provide water to Bharat Thakkar, we can put a new pipeline from Iran to India ( through Pakistan ) for providing Piped gas to millions of our countrymen !

Poor people have good body resistance (against germs) and so they can manage without a purifier.
Hats Of The TATAS - They have done it again, 1st The car and then this. What I really fail to understand is why West Bengal again. Gujarat is a better place. The people of that state will not appreciate such a move event if it means bringing cheaper water to them. The Ms Banerjee will create another avenue for a strike. The people want water based on the messages posted on article but want the same politicians in power. You cant have your cake and eat it to. Politicians or the water. I agree change the govt get military rule in all the politician are just to fill their pockets no single party is honest.
Its great service.Water is responsible for many diseases and causes negative contribution to the growth of poor people, who are already under distress.... Now shrewd businessman or industrialist will come forward and will say --we are also launching .... Where were these till date? None can match TATA's honesty and dedication towards society.From salt to water purifier , TATA showed the way .
