Lacking depth
by prasad gutta on Jul 17, 2010 08:28 PM

I must admit in the first instance that I have only been with ICICIPrudential for many years.
It's back office is lacking the depth to respond to customers requirements.
To say the least I should say that they don't either read or never understand what the customer is asking for.
The replies on mail are often lengthy and not querry specific.
Certain points raised are never answered.
Yes you get atleast a phone call a day on an average saying that you are a valued customer and so on and an advisor will be visiting you at a prefixed convenient date etc.
No one comes and who ever comes once in a way they only note our points-a eye wash.
These are certain points that need the atenion of management. But definitely not to say that ICICI Prudential is bad. I am happy with their service in general.

IPO on the corner
by vangala krishna on Jul 05, 2010 09:51 AM

ICICI prudential life is coming up with IPO and it needs to send the positive image to loot the public and hence this article. I doubt by switching off power supply in remote office would turn them profitable. Seems that number of customer complaints are not the indicator for business success these days.

Bonus for Claims Department
by bewakoof on Jul 05, 2010 07:05 AM

Claims department employees in ICICI get bonus and promotions when they disburse minimum amounts for claims...This happes by rejecting most claims, harassing for some paperwork that they don't bother when selling the policy, providing reduced claims....
I would rather give a higher premium and go to some honest company such as LIC / SBI than a cunning jackal such as ICICI.

But one thing for sure is that it is icici's success which pretty much forced PSU Fin companies to provide better service. But now icici is thinking that its customers won't go away - the same mistake the PSU banks made at some point.

"management is good" - you think when the whole country knows how the company is working by fooling and cheating people, the top management is innocent as a child?

the company works the way the management wants. if the sales people are lying its the company that is forcing them to. otherwise what steps did the company ever take to ensure that people are not cheated.

- the bank and the insurance company. cheating has gotten into the blood of this company.

you are very right in judging the icici pru company have a battery of lawyers & other persons to protect their Business partner / employee for their pretty commissions & gains at the cost of investors / policyholders left to bleed.

Hehehe! Jacksparrows and angels should tread carefully in the Harlem street of "high finance". Now we in Delhi know that people like ICICI are important to run the business of Govt: like we know how important is to keep street level goons to run the show for the people. These people ICICI etc do all these at our bidding, ( of course "protection money" is charged, why else do you think?)
We help them with giving very low interest loans which is disbursed to farmers students and the occasional spendthrift at exorbitant rates. We also allow them to charge all hidden costs so they can get bonuses.
The paperwork for all loans are similar, why do you thing we allow them to .75% of the loan amount. Do you think we allow a doctor to charge Rs 1000 for diagnosing Cancer and 100 for common cold? But then we decide what is logic in this Alice in Wonderland of high finance. Poor indians they do not understand all these!
They work like the salesroom of hell, attract you with wine and woman and sleaze, Once you conform entry, you will be faced by low level goons threatening from phone booths. i believe they are sending these to train abroad like in Afghanistan for latest torture techniques. They believe in experts being trained at the best centres in the world. for all high level deception from Goldman sachs and for the rest from Bihar and afghanistan
