It is obvious for they all have been derived from Govt. offices and if they were honest they would have either migrated to racist countries like Australia who know how to maintain brilliant brains or would not have grown to senior positions.
If one thinks carefully, corruption is a mental disease. One really does not enjoy life by earning extra money through corruption and fraud,. It is true that people belonging to the higher strata in the corporate environment commit larger quantum of the fraud and the reason is simple …. they only have the 'power' and the 'delegated authority' to commit fraud.
Internal audit is one process which can really act effectively to stop these nonsense, provided, of course, the auditor himself is sufficiently empowered (his job should be protected through laws) and he himself is honest. This however seems to be only a theory since this basic concept is not going to be implemented (though known to all). There apparently is no actual intention to implement an effective process to control fraud.

Rubbish- without corruption the entire state will disintegrate, as without the huge amount of black money to keep the neta-babu-mafia machine going, everything will collapse- there will be no services as babudom and netadom will stop working and there will be utter chaos.[ehmmm..]

I agree with you. The study is 100% bogus. Probably, they have only interviewed corrupt govt employees. Otherwise what is scope for midle or lower middle management employee in a private sector ......
