Frost in North India
by rinku on Jan 10, 2010 08:22 PM  | Hide replies

Forst in North India is helpful. As the Agriculture experts from Punjab told this. I think Punjab Agricultural Univeristy is best Agricultural Univeristy in India. PUSA and ICAR is full of UPian and Bhiari Bhiya. Punjab gave green revoultion to Nation. Govt should recruit Agricultral scientist and graduate and postgraduate from Punjab only. Punjab are hard working and have indepth knowldge about agricultural subjects. Govt should consider this point.

From last 15 year , Govt didnot hire any Agricultural graudate from Punjab. Punjab Govt lack ADO and block wise post But Govt is still sit quite. Wake Up Govt and hire Hardworker Agricultural graudate , Becoz Punjab Give Green revlution to nation .
Why UP and HP and other state are filled ADO post and not Punjab.

Frost damage
by rinku on Jan 10, 2010 08:19 PM

Frost is nature gift to farmers. Longer the forst more will be wheat yield. However in Kullu manali and shimla there is adverse effect as there is no Snowfall from last 3-4 years which effect apple . This all happens due to global warming. Everyone must be aware of this and use cycle and foot walk to cover small to medium distance. Longer distance should be covered with public transport .
