1st SRC recommended Telangana region to be integrated in AP in 1961. Nehru did it in 1956 to prevent repeating Kashmir fiasco And AP Assembly also passed the resolution with 2/3rd majority in 1956.
It is really unfortunate that IT firms are thinking about other places as a option to telangana issue. And it will be great loss for the people of this region if andhra is divided in telangana. Bit on other hand this article also make them tese people to realise that what will be the long term consiquences this state going to face.
It is high time to distribute some of the IT offices to other cities like Vizag. Satyam is a good candidate to start with, since it's owners hail from coastal Andhra region.
It;s unfortunate that IT companies are planning to move out of Hyderabad. Now Telugu people are going to lose a lot because of this. The main income for Whole andhra pradesh is through IT. Also the recent incidents tarnished the hyderabad image in front of other countries. I already mentioned this long time back in one of my blogs. I believe if the issue continues for some more time, the other industries will also move to other stable locations. It;s unfortunate that whatever the hardwork that NTR,Naidu and Reddy put for last 30 Yrs went in the drain in just 30 days. Let's hope things will come to normal and Hyderabd again will be in the front race for attracting the investments. My Humble request to political parties and public is have healthy discussions. Do not show your frustations by calling strikes/ bandhs. This is going to impact us only. One more humble request to media/Tv is please donot encourage the violence. Real Media is one which goes deep to point out the public difficulties. It's unfortunate that media is becoming way of making money and playing power politics. There is not even single true journalist who talks about people's difficulties.

Also please remember. Once upon a time, there used to be lot of business firms in Calcutta. But because of the bandhs/strikes or whatever may be, most of the companies went away. Please don;t drag Hyderabad to that level.

It is also unfortunate that once businesses leave they will NOT come back. A lot of people on here and elsewhere think that everything will back to normal, once the fighting stops, but that never happens. Business likes a stable, peaceful atmosphere. Even the slightest hint of trouble will drive businesses away.

Darthvader - I agree with you. It will take another 20 to 30 years to convince them. Andhra Pradesh is having lot of unemployement problems. IT is one industry which help to remove some of the unemployment. It;s really unfortunate that things went bad in last 30 days. Lets hope public will realise this loss. For politicians it doesn;t matter because they made tons of money. If you look at whole andhra, there are 1000 politicians/businessmen who have more than 1000 crores of properties. Nearly half of the population is in poverty.
this is wise hyderabad is poorly managed no roads, no schools, colleges are owned by builders. infra structure is outdated and without look after. most of the companies do'nt pay salaries to employees. hardly you will find government health center in twin cities, almost no government schools!!!!!!!!many sez, builder raj made property unaccesible. public transport is heavily costly. no traffic law in the town!!!! better not bring IT companies. Prostitution is the hot business in hyderbad
Good step.It will be good lesson to idiot separatst movement . Let beggar Telangana remain beggar It looks they want to enjoy on govt money without work .So want separate state
