Govt. Co.'s in India, specially BSNL, should have their officers charge-sheeted ... and jailed .. for willful and wanton squashing of Indian R&D. My expereince of telecom engg. tells me that the recoulutionin 'public domain' R&D Globally, R&D outsourcing, and Indian Co.'s maturity .... Indian Co.'s are fully capable of rolling out Wi-Max locally. Govt. support, purchases orders and partnerships never mind, these Govt. babus actually prefer to sell-out to no-name 'foren' technology providers in the name of ... hehe ... wot? Proven technology ? Proven tech my ass ... Wi-Max will eveolve on it's Global foundations ... there is no such thing as 'Proven Tech.'. Tech always evolves ... even Swami Vivekananda said 100 yrs. ago ...
