Praise are being heaped by corporate sector on the budget. That is because of misplaced emphasis on the non-roll-back of stimulus and retouch-up of exemptions. This is more a collective sigh of relief than an accurate assessment. No business is complete without the last leg, transportation of goods to the market. In fact business comemces with the freight of raw materials to the factories and field in the first place. With the hike in petrol and diesel rates, imposition of additional excise on refineries and imposition of service tax on freight transport by railway, all benefits will be negated and will actually feul price hike across all goods. FM is betting big on disinvestment an 3 G auction to mop up Rs. 70,000 crores to shore up funds for public finance. Come April and he will get a rude shock, there will be very few takers for it, as 4G technology is only a year away and BSNL hasn't hasn't quite stirred up the subscribers with it even though it had the first mover's advantage. The UPA govt. has recently pushed back one disinvestment proposal to April instead of Feb because of lukewarm response. The FM's fiscal disciplining is bound to turn-up as wishful thinking, as the market is not really as liquid as it is made out to be. Irrigation schemes, the main core issue to counter droughts remains a headless chicken. Come to think of it, only person who made sensible propositon about it was Atal Bihari Vajpayee when he spoke of river-interlinking. The budget will disappoint.
Congress is playing the game very well. In the coming next few days FM will roll back increase in petrol and diseal prices by rupees one or so. Then people will be happy and the congress will say the hon'ble soniaji and rahulji persuaded FM to roll back in favour of Aam Admi. The media and news papers will start praising Soniaji and rahulji from morning to evening and would say they are messiah of poor. Opposition parties will be caught in the game plan of congressi. Wait and watch. Anyway price of all items will increase and Aam Admi will suffer further
It's not at all aam aadmi budget. Everybody is saying that increase in Tax Slab will benefit aam aadmi. Please tell me a person who is earning 5 - 6 lac per annum, do you say him/her aam aadmi?? This budget is beneficial to those who earns more than 5 - 6 lac. Nowadays, large number of population is earning 2 - 3 lac per annum. Does budget help those people? Not at all.

Not true. 60% of total population earn only 1lac or less. For them there is nobody to speak.
What I feel about this financial year's budget can be described very shortly. It is not a pro people budget. By the hike in petrol and diesel rates the prices of rest of all goods will go up. This does not require a Finance Minister's articulation or description of the state.
My only feeling is that the time is ripe to throw this type of unwanted elements from the common man's recipe.

in economics some one told me in last year that coming year U will see price rise in all goods due to government action taken in all world.
The finance budget presented yesterday in Loksabha will further increase the prices of all food items and manufactured goods. There is nothing concrete steps in Budget for minimizing the administrative expeses of the Union government. Project delays, salaries of the government staffs, unecessary costs of the ministers etc. are increasing the debt burden of the government. Therefore, this budget is aimless and tilted towards the rich people.
This Budget is not ment for Middle Class Family .This is complete eyewash We are been fooled once again.Seems Price hike is beyond control of Govt .To control Increasing Price stop Trading in commodites like MCX.
