price escalations
by Hariharan shankaran on Feb 26, 2010 07:13 PM  | Hide replies

Six months back the haircut rate was Rs.50/- Now it is Rs.70/-. To tackle this inflation I have to skip one haircut. Teapackets rates go up by Rs.3/- for 500grms packets for every new arrival. Sugar and Rice rates have increased by 100%. With the increase in fuel prices there is going to be an overall increase in essential commodity prices. The feeling is that the citizen's welfare is given minimum regard. May be the supply and demand principle works here. i.e. we the Indians are more in number.

Use the service of roadside barber. They still charge Rs. 20/- only for haircut. Tea without sugar is healthy otherwise it is addiction only.
