There is no possibility of TATA emerging as significant player in indian or World cararket I have driven TATA cars for ten years and totally dissatisfied with its engine and aftersales service The car starts giving troubles after a few days and the problem is never solved unless you write to none less than TATA himself

You must be joking. Once it was General motors now the crown at present is held by Toyota. TATA will never be the largest not in a 1000 years either.

Folks for your information Maruti is not an Indian Company now. Its now controlled by its parent company Suzuki. No doubt out of 5 cars 3 cars are Maruti but it still needs to improve on quality and start building Luxury cars where it has lack expertise. The only Indian Auto company is TATA...

guys.... 20% stake of suzuki motors is taken by VW. since, SUZUKI is the promoter of Maruti, VW has the ultimate benefit of Maruti sales.

Auto company ? Car company? if Auto, Ashok Leyland, Eicher. Indian minds need to wake up... Think again about globalisation....are we just going to be working for others and buying others products...atleast grrom next generation
Iam an owner of Maruti Wagon r car and I had the option of buying Cheverolet Spark, but did not, becoz of the emotional attachment i have with our own Maruti. Come let us not encourage these Japanese,Germans and American car manufacturers in India.JAI HIND

Appriciate your thought and action. Tata motors produce indegenious cars..(nowadays they too bring in Ford engines). Mahindra(Renault engine). Anyways my buy is Tata. Groom your kinds so that atleast next generation, we make competent products rather than loosing to foreign brands in the name of gobalization.
