Aussie Investment Decisions are Racist
by Dilip Samuels on Feb 10, 2010 11:39 PM

Australia has to tread very carefully with investment decisions ..messing with Asia ..will cost them -they will then be selling sheep to New Zealand

Australia should know that Britain and Australia are just has beens in the New Business Age - irrelevant in the New Age economy and power

Many times I tried to get a free brochure from the Australian tourism department in the States but they would never send it. After a while I realized that it was most probably because they heard my accent and decided it wasnt American and maybe feared that I wanted to immigate to their country. They are not above racism as they claim. After stealing entire continents they talk about rules and regulations to restrict others from coming in.

Thanks, We Don't Need Aussi Investment in India
by Satya N on Feb 10, 2010 09:20 PM

Let them have racist feelings and let them also practice racism with regard to their investments abroad.....India doesn't need their bloody investments....there are many who are investing in India and on bigger scale....Aussie's paltry capital doesn't make any difference here. Let them shove it up their a*ss.

It is not about Chinese race. Singaporeans can invest in Australia without scrutiny. Singaporeans are mostly chinese by race. Chinese of New Zealand citizenship can invest without scrutiny. It has nothing to do with race but country. And when it comes to country, Australia has to look after its security. All countries do this. In India, it is easier for people from some countries to invest than others.

Well explained Warrior. Doing business with some countries can be a dodgy affair. Why should Australia not be putting extra checks in place especially when dealing with China? Just look at all those cheap, fake and often highly unsafe Chinese products that find its way in our local market.
