The case against the Orange Properties bangalore was filed in High Court then it went to consumer court....GOD knows when the justice will come..... Orange Properties have booked the flates from aroud 500 people...by taking 2 to 18 lacs as booking from different people. But finally not delivered anything. The whole money was gone...consumers filed the case 1 year back.. and still running from one place to other for money.
just like the anti-dowry, this 'Consumer Greviance' has become another tool for greedy people to extort money, by threatning to ruin the reputaions of corporates by approching Consumer court this might sound exagerated but its true that there are people amoungst us who use "Greviance" as bargaining tool to pull maxximum discounts. Lets not forget that people working in corporates are also common people who Careers are to risk because of false accusations by consumer rights activists
