everybody is missing one great fact. the 2g licenses were sold dirt cheap because mobile call costs are dirt cheap in India compared to anywhere in the world. CAG is stupid. it is trying to sabotage it's credibility. how can it assess loss to govt as per the international prices of 2g or 3g auction prices with out comparing the fact of mobile call prices internationally and in India. 2G and 3G capabilities are different completely. media also does notcorrect figures or facts. the whole 2G is lies from everybody - govt, opposition, CAG, media and all. common man definitely gains from this due to free incoming calls and cheap phone call rates.
From the day of preponement of cut off date AFTER APPLICATIONS HAD BEEN REGISTERED, the arbitrariness of Raja was headlined in every newspaper in every language. And then came the 45 minutes notice for depositing the fee causing a law and order situation to erupt in Sanchar Bhawan about which also all papers were howling at the top of their voice. But PM didn't hear, Sonia didn't hear and of course Rahul didn't hear. Now that Radia Tapes are out we have Sonia outlining an Action Plan against corruption and PM pretending to be the Caesar’s wife!
