Governance
by arungopal agarwal on Dec 29, 2010 12:12 PM

So far all rules and systems are framed in favour of Govt. only and in case of any even mistake found, onus of responsibilty lies with the party, Govt. Babus and political leaders find gateway for non-accountability.

Narendra Modi or APJ should be PM
by Hari Menon on Dec 29, 2010 11:58 AM

Need Modi as next PM. He is the man with a great vision. Or else, lets scrap this parliamentary jokery and have presidential system like West - see Obama - atleast he is physically fit. Our MMS is having one leg in the grave. Then APJ Kalam - the missile man can become our presidenet. the current marathi lady Patil is a blot on all Marathis.

Congress = bunch of thieves, sycophants like Digvijay...
by mukesh dayal on Dec 29, 2010 11:40 AM

Recently Digvijay is making such ridiculous remarks such as i had a talk with karkare before he was killed etc and he could not produce any evidence of this..
by making such ridiculous remarks and sonia by tacitly supporting him Congress is only making we indians (muslims/hindus) annoyed..
Definitely this is 2010 and Congress can't use old british technique of divide and rule so blatantly..
I appeal to all indians to protest these kind of anti national and communal remarks by voting against Congress in all elections to come in future including General elections and make it a point to teach them a lesson..
Even thru wikileaks we came to know that USA ambassador in secret cable conveyed that Congress played MINORITY POLITICS during 26/11 when people were being massacred by pakis in mumbai..
It seems Congress wants power at any cost with the help of sycophants like Digvijay.. so that they can steal another one lakh crore by doing 2G spectrum, CWG type scams next time when they come to power.. they cannot fool us this time around by putting the image of manmohan singh and behind the door their leaders making millions..
JAI HIND..

Abolish Party-system in Politics
by Causarhina on Dec 29, 2010 10:20 AM  | Hide replies

Abolish all Political Parties & let good people stand for elections! In each area there must be good decent people who actually care for their constituencies. Once they become a party, they have to dance to the tunes of greedy individuals.
We should be able to find candidates who are truly interested in their constituents!
If parties are abolished, even the worthy people will stand for election... all should be individuals who are worth their salt!
There would be no more walk outs / rallying etc, which guzzles our money, & drains the exchequer for NOT working! Like the BJP led opposition just did.
An entire Parliamentary Session wasted...! Shame! Count the cost... Transport, daily Bhatta, fees for attending the session! They make a cool sum!
Once you start cutting their pay for not letting Parliament work and resolve real issues which affect the common people, we may see some progress. This is just one party trying upmanship on another... the nation suffered as a consequence!
Get rid of all parties and let worthy individuals rule!
Even the Prime Minister & President should be directly elected by the people. Abolish the Electoral College!

Yes thats a great Idea.
Let truely inspired individuals stand for elections, and the President of India in the presence of media can select the cabinet (including PM) by lot from the around elected 500 MPs. Election campaigns could be funded and organised by Govt (EC) and could be kept minimal. Like a program at every taluk where all the candidates chould be given slots to speak to the public. Seems really workable! Hope someday such a system would be tried in our country.
