Hail NANO
by Syed Razvi on Dec 23, 2010 03:26 PM  | Hide replies

We Indians don't appreciate if some thing good takes place. We always see the negative side and over look the positive side.It is the forgeiners who appriciate our efforts. Remember,Mr. Obama was so impressed to see this car showed the same to Mrs. Obama.Learn to appreciate for that you have to be large hearted. We should be proud of our engineers and manufacturers who have fulfilled an AAM ADMI'S dream.

this small SUV type vehicle..im talking about 3 door one. looks great!
it is a fab car for India.
overseas, too, everybody likes it but it seems to have many faults. even engine i heard is only doing 100,000km before overhaul.
If Tata could manufacture similar model with all defects fixed it would be a CLASSIC

by puneet rai on Dec 23, 2010 03:16 PM  | Hide replies

Every vehicle can have teething problem so had Nano. It got highlighted due to its low cost and the problems were immediately related to the price. Its unfair....

NIERRIA RAADIA must have lobbied for Rotton TATA to get award
by Sunil Dupakuntla on Dec 23, 2010 03:14 PM  | Hide replies

Rotton Tata must have sent Nierria Raadia to lobby international community to get that award for nano. But we are not fools to take Rotton TATA at face value anymore. Fact is Nano is a utter failure model and Rotton is trying hard to improve its sales.

Nano's Stat e Entry!
by D goel on Dec 23, 2010 03:10 PM  | Hide replies

D. Goel Pkl. afternoon 3.05pm, Thursday,Dec. 23, 2010
Nano is not available with AC for anything less than 1 Lac & 50 Thousand Rupees anywhere, it is more than RS 100,000/- as promised by Rattan Tata Sahib earlier. But in between the idea and its realization as always, there falls the shadow!
However , still with 4 adult seats and one Petrol liter taking one to 23 Kilometres ,it is still cheapest 4 wheeler in the market.
Itis argued that it is small but not crowded, it is easily good to turn on small Parking Lots within 4 Meters. It can go to maximal speed of 105 Kilometers an Hr. It is warrantied for 60,000 Kilometers without Engine Overhaul.
Certainly Cash strapped lower middle -income Groups would seek it out to gain respectability in India for their limited funds. It is welcome if others could make a more effective alternative, soon.D. Goel

So what? may be a few of them got fire. Why none of the toyatas have non working brakes? GM and Ford have recalled so many models due to manfacturing faults.

Its time to look at the positives behind an achievement like this..esp by a Indian manufacturer.
