I am living in Panvel and can vouch for the correctness of most of the statements made in the article.
People are going crazy and throwing money and if I tell the broker that I am interested in two BHK resale house with out facilities, he quotes around 40 Lakhs.

This is strange. I stay in Kharghar. In sector 20. Which is currently the prime location for Kharghar as it is close to central park. No way is a flat close to 1 crore for 2 BHK. They are around 38 lakhs to 50 lakhs max. You can get a 3bhk flat in oshiwara andheri for 1 crore.

People have stopped complaining agnst Builders. No use
by Wepoorindians on Dec 20, 2010 05:23 PM

The rotten system starts from the birth of child.
a) Doctors dupe parents by doing cessarian rather than natural birth. They they list out thousands of medicins without any reason for it. Pharma cos loot public by creating problem and then selling their medicines.
b) School starts fooling parents by charging exorbitant fees in the name of International School but teaches students of those things that is of rural background. Fees high, but teachers paid miserably.
c) Higher eductation-again a cheating methodology. B-School or management education -good way of fooling gullible students and fleecing money. See Rs. 2000 is charged for prospectus with no reason for it as no tests are conducted . Even Tests,GDs are an eyewash. Conducts Seminars workshop on theme like Integrity, Honesty, Ethics and Morale plus Standard throughout year, where their own morale goes w
d) Employement domain- If one is stright forward, honest, upright and a man of integrity , be sure his life/career will be shorted especially in private organisation. If govt, growth will be almost nil and repeated transfers will sap his energy.
CEOs are themselves a big thief, why should they support good persons.
So the bottomline or tailpiece is that as long as person remains immuned to corruption system , his life remains miserable and growth is completely missing.

If one wants to enjoy all privileges, he should be corrupt always. Unfortunately, I have not been able to learn this becos of values of my parents.

by GoGarry Go on Dec 17, 2010 10:43 PM

Panvel never ceases to dazzle! Thanks to Rediff for an amazing groundwork for this article of bringing to the masses the truth about Panvel. This is the new growth engine of Mumbai Real Estate. All those having money rotting at 8% in FD, this is your last chance to cash in on Mumbais next real estate growth story... afterall we have only a limited lifetime to reap the benefit of this wait... and Panvels dont keep happening all the time...
