ALL high value items costing more than 10 lakh Rs must be taxed!!
by Tong Tong on May 28, 2011 12:16 PM

Since our country has more than 500 million poor hindus, including sc.st,backward and tribals, all high value items costing more than 10 lakh rupees must be taxed 50 percent of their market values and the money collected as tax must be distributed monthly to all 500 million poor hindus below the poverty line.Shame that BJP,RSS,VHP who shout they care for poor hindus have NOT made such a demand in the media or have not made agitation in streets and praliament with such a demand.Further BJP must join Baba Ramdev movement NOW and make a national revolution to get back trillions of dollars of baclk money of all polticians and businessmen, hasan ali and agents and MUST distribute the money collected to all the 500 million sc,st,backward and ppor and tribal hindus below poverty line and if BJP cannot do it they must say that their leaders too have black money abroad so that hindu voters know their real supporters and not just supporters in words only, Time for a grand manhabharat war has come now, Hope 100 crore hindus will join in and clean hindustn of all demons and emonesses forever.

LOL ....2L engine same as optra diesel..& less than I
by jaggu on Dec 27, 2010 05:16 PM

1) The 35 Kgm torque is only 10% more than Optra dielels 33 Kgm torque.

2) The extra BHP will be seen only on expressways which are seldom used.

3) The BLACK interior will look like funeral gear.. as gloomy as the european economy...

4) US price is around 14 lacs ( 30k$) so now you pay all the tax you saved so far.

5) Service & reliability is typically European- Promise SUN deliver MOOON..

2L engine same as optra & less than Innova..
by jaggu on Dec 17, 2010 10:02 PM

The 35 kg m torque of BMW X1 costing 22 lacs vs 32 Kgm of Optra costing 9 lacs looks fraud in real life situations. The peak bhp will only happen on expressways..and the black interiors will create a hearse va effect...

by vikas aditya on Dec 17, 2010 06:39 PM  | Hide replies

Don't know the price for this in US as of now but $50K..no way..sounds like a joke..it can't go beyond $30K range..In India people are definitely paying way too more than it's worth..

I will better go for Porsche Cayenne

I would really argue on this. X1 is not sold in USA and X3 (a variant higher than this) costs $50k
