since our country entirely depend upon the OPEC for crude oil, I am wondering why, we want to depend upon OPEC ON CRUDE OIL, in India ,we too get crude oil in India, even though not to tat level of OPEC. There are lot of ways to reduce the oil price hike.Govt is not ready to reduce the tax on petrol and diesel, that it self constitute more 50% net price of oil.Let us take a example of Brazil, they do not depend upon these OPEC contries, they run their vehicles on Ethonal.Govt had policy on blending ethonal with petrol till date it as not come into practise, because our beloved politician are in the hands of OPEC ,to fill their own pockets. If the our politicians are really true Indian, they might have changed the way.
Already consumers are finding it hard to cope with the rise of prices of essential commodities. Rise in price of Diesel will further complicate the issue. I think The Congress Party has already started digging its own grave.

Why one should have more than two or three vehicles in India and create lot of pollution, or to show-off their money might. Petrol should be sold at Rs.100.00 per litre to control these type of things.

then what would be the plight of the person owning only one car ?? Let us be practical. Let the Govt. bring out a policy that not more than one car would be allowed per household. That would lessen the number of cars on the roads. Now we see that the father is driving a car alone, the mother is driving another car and the kids are njoying their night out in another car.

The government can consider raising 5 Rs. every month. Atleast once in a month we are seeing news about this. Rather than surprise the government may consider like this " on 10th of every month the petrol price will go 5 Rs. higher" - Stable Congress

When a kilo of table rice is sold for Rs. 45/- to Rs.50/- in Bangalore, Rs. 100.00 per litre is nothing compared to the pollution created
