Real News aboyut new is this
by nilesh kumar on Mar 29, 2014 03:11 PM

Now what will TV channels like Zee News and India TV and their anchors like (Sudhir Chowdhary and Rajat Sharma, who bost of being 4th pillar to democarcy) will have to say about this. This report shows us the real face of Indian Media (both print and TV channels), and where they are going, especially in these days of Elections, Channels like Zee (News and Business) and India TV are acting like spokes channel of BJP in general and Mr. Modi in perticullar. It can clearlly be seen that all their analysis and reports always favors BJP and Modi, and a real New channel should really restrain themselfs from giving judgments (or their opinions) and rather should focus on giving news (which is their duty).
And we have to think for professions like Journalism and Doctors, are they their to serve the community or to serve them self's.

irresponsible journalists

It is known & established that media and its representatives-all are working on give & take policy. Vir & Barkha's names have appeared in recent Radia case.

Forget this, every news channel-be it news/business etc. all are paid ones. They always are in search of new scoops everyday. They never follow up with the issues that are of national importance and in the interest of common people. They are concerned only about their business, ratings and advertisement money...

It would be absolutely foolish to call MEDIA as carrying any kind of social responsibilities.

For paid news to be eliminated
by Sathish N on Dec 07, 2010 07:05 AM

The simple solution is to have transparency. All govt offices should be under camera and aam admi should be able to view any govt office location live at any time. This will save the society lot of corruption money that gets channeled out of India.

paid news
by raman govindan on Dec 07, 2010 06:29 AM

the news papers should be banned from publishing advertisements. it shpuld be like government gazzette notification.

the advertisements should come as a separate paper and should be priced and taxed per page of advertisement. every doubling of the number of pages should increase the taxes by quadrapuling.

the advertisement revenue should not compensate the reduced earning or the loss of the news papers.

the paid news, corrupt tendencies that distort news and true presentation of news, opinion will be reduced.

Media reporting these days
by prem k on Dec 06, 2010 07:13 PM  | Hide replies

A young man sees a little girl leaning into the bars of the lion's cage at the city zoo. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside, under the gaze of her screaming parents. The youth without hesitation runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and he brings the girl to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.

A media reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter addressing the youth says, "Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I've seen a man do in my whole life. I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I am a journalist, you know, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page... So, what is your name and what do you do for a living?".

The youth replies, "My name is Ram and I am a Hindu priest at a nearby temple".

The journalist leaves. The following morning the young man buys the paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on the front page:

"A SANGH PARIVAAR TERRORIST ASSAULTS A MINORITY FOR EATING BEEF"

That pretty much sums up the media's approach to the news these days.

Its citizen are merely slaves .Lets pray that we become more & more corrupt so that 1 day krishna will come to rescue the Honest. I think the speed money has done value addition to the few. Boss we should stop from being honesty as it is no more the best policy. The moral police is also saleable here.

After first page what he writes makes sense. But the first is a total crap. He needs to understand freedom of opinion does not mean you openly preach seccession from India.
