In India we do not have 401(k) or 403(b). We only have 420(c), the scheme generally suggested by so called financial planners!!

The readers are not ignorant people. They know the retirment plans which are there in different countries. Please give us an original article about Indian retirement and saving schemes.

The article seems to have been lifted from some American magazine. Pre-tax plans 401 (k) etc. do not find mention in the Indian Income-Tax Code. These are part of American tax-planning system.
