Indians are the most racist people in the world
by john abraham on Aug 09, 2010 07:58 PM  | Hide replies

Look at this. Even a person like Tata is not spared of racism. He is not looked upon as a human being but as a Parsi. This attitude is nowhere else except in India.
Shame rediff for publishing this.

Pls say something new. Why blame media and Tatas? India today is far far more rascist than what it was 2-3 decades ago. It starts from govt, do you know that you have to state your caste and religion in every application for admission to a university or for a govt job? Now govt has even started caste based census. But why only blame ourselves, it is all around us and we have accepted it. If the images of pak cricket team praying on the ground or sporting beards or president obama has to get his pastor alongside for campaigning to convince his christian credentials, why do you think that india can remain exclusive to this global phenomena? when people showcase their religion, language or race, the concept of recism starts

Almost all politicians dont deserve this award. I dont understand why nehru, indira gandhi, rajiv gandhi, zakir hussain, abul kalam azad, jai prakash narayan, mgr, morarji desai, gopinath bardoloi, sardar patel, rajaji, v v giri or gulzarilal nanda deserve such an honor when mahatma gandhi, bhagat singh, khudiram basu were not deemed fit?

so when bjp demands one for golwalkar or savarkar or even vajpayee, how can it be faulted?

india does not reward entrepreuners because most of such awards go to either politicians or artists or others with political connections
