i dont agree to most of the people in here.everyone is saying the same thing but if u have taken any step to help any body whom u think is poor according to ur thinking.what special u have done to help a poor instead of giving him/her few coins.people think that blogging is good but its a fashion today.if u want to do something then ,,,the thing which i s slight important to u give it to that poor if it works for that person by this u will be able to know and feel the goodness of donation and experience of that.If u can donate u r good thing then only u should think of any body else ...try it works.......peace,love,brotherhood,affection AND lot will be in u after doing that.If u can do this then u can we can do anything

Poverty deletion from india as the title sounds interesting.. As to my concerned, such notion shall be taken place provided the mentality of indian people changed.. One should be self-reliance instead of begging for food and money..

Simply look at China, Singapore, and even Japan after World War 2..

Not point of showing finger upon those politicians, and bussiness men..

also, agreed with what Veerendra Singh said..

poverty
by satyanarayana Rudra on Jul 15, 2010 03:08 PM

the accountability of Govt.is a must, but at the same time the citizen whoever he is tribe of common man should also fulfill his responsibility, like control population, work instead of sitting idle.
The Govt.always does good for the poor, still there might be some leakages in the system.Still it is reaching the poor. Most big point to note is Govt.started accepting that every citizen has right to get better finance & good life. This is unlike in past, leaders saying that being poor is previous life\\\'s fate.
So going in right direction will be leading to 100% poverty alleviation.
So let us contribute for it,in stead of asking what country has given for us.

Poverty in India
by suresh on Jul 12, 2010 05:46 PM

The tax payers money from wealthy states are lost in corruption/scandals/poor administration in those poor states. No sufficient development policies upon exploiting the natural resource based industries in those poor states to improve their livilihood. The Central government, while takes money out from wealthy states, they do not take any initiative to support/respect their cultural/linguistic heritage, particularly of southern states. They do not want to settle justice to many disputes like river sharing. They do not care about a tamil fishermen and tamils suffering in srilanka, but give protection to afsal guru. But if one northie is raided in another country, they would efficiently intervene and instate diplomatic process/actions. They keep the whole country polarized by diversity/economic disbalance. But wanted us to be proud 'indian' on every aspect and enforce us to take pledge of india rich heritage.

inheritance
by KK SHARMA on Apr 26, 2010 01:51 PM

we are rich because of inheritance of our culture, same thing with china.
inheritance gives us valuable social system it is not one experiment and we get it.
see on onam a festival of kerala, even the poorest of poor, dresses well and feeds some body, a show of the generosity in our culture, we can also do it.
jane kahen gaye wo log? (where those nobles are lost, we miss them)we have lost our greatness.
many rich family have vanished, if no proper care was taken to keep the values of life, of the system.
it depends on user and his wisdom.
it and also freedom lost by force. see Afghanistan, it was the onslaught of invasion.
