Ambassadors
by Sheetal Kaur on Apr 17, 2010 08:45 PM  | Hide replies

Ambassadors is an old and tired design.
Ambassadors Fiat franchise of the 50s and requires to be replaced by something more practice as a taxi.
It is high time that it was phased out.
times have changed gone ar those luggage bundles wrapped in a cloth sheet we have now large and heavy suitcase and Ambassadors does not have space in it handle such luggage.
India needs a taxi in the lines of London taxis spacious, able to carry large suitcases a none luggage capacity of six passengers and with facility for wheel chairs.
If this design needs to be carried on then it should only be for the government.
Old an tired design for old and tired MPs.

Junk Car

This car should be abolished. Because of this car (based on 1930's designs and looks) India has a poor image abroad and considered to be a backward, low-tech nation, with a small number of toilets per capita.

Need a bold move

Why cant Hindustan Motors engage Dilip Chabria or one of the leading auto design firms to re-do the design of Amby - more a retro redone, like what Chrysler did with PT Cruiser, rather than persisting with the old war horse design.
