BSNL - What a Fate....!!!!!!
by ramamani iyer on Apr 09, 2010 10:57 AM

Somehow, I do not get tired of writing about BSNL.......perhaps due to the ill treatment meted out by them to me and thousands of other
hapless customers like me, in the past.
BSNL is a good company BUT managed by STUPID
people....it could do a lot of good....BUT..
has never been allowed to function as per
" good market " practice.....
It has always been manipulated by political
appointees and the Minister himself...for
their own short term selfish interests....
Today, the market is very dynamic and the service provider has to be on its toes to
deal with the dynamic market forces......and
BSNL " IS JUST NOT IN THE RIGHT MENTAL FRAME
WORK " to tackle such dynamics....!!!!!

Hence, it would be prudent for Govt. to make
BSNL a minor player in the field and let the
private sector play its part to deal with the
changing market scenario.....

Sorry.....BSNL...!!!! YOU HAD YOUR TIME..BUT
THE TIME DOES NOT WAIT FOR YOU....!!!!
be on

Sarkari Vs Others

BSNL has 10 times the number of employees giving inferior service compared to their private sector counterparts.

Same is true of Air India.
Same is true of SAIL.
Endless list.

All Private Cell Phone Companies should be banned.
by iota on Apr 08, 2010 11:09 AM

Only BSNL should be allowed like the good old days.

So that,
BSNL employees can harass you.
You apply for a cell phone and then wait for 5 years to get a connection.
Ordinary BSNL Clerks think of themselves as Bharti Mittal.

Oh the good old days.

Govt should fully implement the Pritoda Committee report for reviving BSNL otherwise Govt will have to pay the monthly salary of the employees.

Sam pitroda is respectable man.Butquestion is as a advisor he can tell anything in line with US STYLE OF WORKING OF CORPORATION,But the question is WHY THERE NO SUGGETION ON REVITALISING BSNL WORK FORCE?
As calculated in US THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE =WORK FORCE NO X TOTAL YEARS OF SREVICE.
GOvernment appoints sometimes persons of high public immage to get their jon done. This is a example of this.
