if your mobile has not kiled you yet, your datacard will sure do
by Abhi Bhat on Apr 06, 2010 04:35 AM

if your mobile has not kiled you yet, your datacard will sure do.
The microwave of cells and towers create havoc in small animals, bees and most importantly in plants. They cause irrepairable damage in human brains and blood tissues and nervous system. They cause migrains, cancer, hairloss, depression, memoryloss, infertility, just to start with. More complications arise later.
This is just from occasional cell phone use.
But datacard is something you use at a stretch.
God saves those who help themselves. Do a favor please go wired to stop the livingbeings from collapsing.

cost of hardware
by vinay on Apr 05, 2010 10:45 PM

y the cost of hardware is unique for different operators.
y different hardware/usb/data card used for different operators. the data card shud b common for all operators. so like mobile phone, with one gsm phone, one can go for any of the 8-10 gsm operators merely by changing the sim card in the phone.

similarly, there shud b one data card with facility for inserting sim card of different operators. right now, if i spend around 2500/- i hv to stick to the same operator. am i right?

is there any solution?

Stop marketting for Airtel. Telecom Sector is moving towards oligarchy led by Airtel. The way they are adopting for the destruction of the state run BSNL clearly shows this

by mahesh thakur on Apr 05, 2010 12:05 PM  | Hide replies

Hi, I used Vodaphone for one year by paying and buing the plug and use modem. Then one year got over..and I was charged Rs 800 for using almost 20 hours of net and then they suggested me change of plan to 499 (500 MB one, and I got another shock of my life, this time the bill was more than Rs. 2700 of rthe month of March 2010, they cite reasons of higher use of down loads, and I say your net is costing me almost rs 100/hour..long live zoo zooos..

Better u change to BSNL. ONCE U reach the limit of use they wnt allow u to use it( will give a message whenever u try a site) again unless u want it to.no hidden charges also.

Its always UPTO
by Harry VanDeusan on Apr 05, 2010 12:02 PM

Please be aware speeds mentioned in advertisements are always UP TO 3.1 MBPS.Its not the constant speed. Even of you get 3.1 mbps for a brief second, their ad claim is fulfilled. Caveat Emptor.

Boss, You get 30KBPS(Bytes per second). TATA photon claims 3.1Mbps (Bits Per Second). So obviously you will get 3.1/8 Bytes per second.
