it remembers license scam in narsimha rao govt. when HFCL rocked getting max. telecom license under ministry of sukharam then telecome minister. can any body indicate who is running the show behind the sheen this time.
With muslim and dawood friendly government, BSNL and MTNL is wasting public money to buy failed comapny like zain at exhorbitant cost. Zain is popular only in Kuwait and BAhrain. Rest of places it harldy have any customers.

Are you really an Indian? What can be achieved by buying a company like Zain? Man.. do some basic desktop research and then shoot from ur rear!!
After the Airtel-MTN failure, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one. Africa and West Asia are a hot telecom market and this may prove to be foothold there. But it has to come through now and fast. This is a huge opportunity for the Indian side of the consortium in terms of revenues as well as future business prospects in the area.
Both BSNL and MTNL reserves are ill gotten money by false charges and revenues collected from poor Indians during the license permit raj when even a complaint could not be lodged. If you take into account the bribes (even the lines man used to take money) the figure willbe mammoth. All this money belong to the hapless consumers of a Monopoly.
