AUSTERITY DRIVE A GIMMICK BY UPA
by Avichal Sharma on Oct 07, 2009 09:58 PM  | Hide replies

the austerity drive of the UPA government is just a gimmick. they are just beffooling the the common man. they are showing that inflation is negative by calculating it in whol sale price index . when even a laymen knows that it is realistic when being calculated on consumer price index.
the so called "heart throb" of the nation Mr. rahul gandhi is travelling by shatabdi express to show himself as a parsimonious person.these all efforts are to unlock our voice and divert our mind by the burgeoning price of onions and tuar dal.
A political party having three economist. manmohan singh, chidambaram, pranav mukherji is not able to handle it properly.
when BJP was in power everything was in control. and it was in the reach of common man. Every vegetable is running out of the reach of poor people. This government can play only politics over the case of afzal guru and ajmal aamir kasab maore than that they can do nothing.
Their main aim was to win elections and they have done it quite convincingly.they will start the preparation for the next lok sabha election from three years from now. till then they will create a disastrous situation where even the wheat will cost 150 rupees a kilo .
But UPA need not to worry for this coz even in a worse- 2 orse situation will come they will not lose the election. coz all conglomerates are serving for them indirectly and they are full confident that the urban population (educated people) will never cast a vote..

pranab mookherjee -an economist my foot.chidambaram is not an economist but a lawyer.low wholesale inflation is due to higher base effect.last year during this time it was arround 12%.basically congress is of RICH,BY THE RICH AND FOR THE RICH.IT IS CORRUPT,FAMILY PVT LTD,CASTIST,ANTIPOOR AND PRO RICH PARTY.

rising prices
by sridharan r on Oct 07, 2009 07:17 PM

if the black money stashed away abroad and within the country are unearthed and pumped into the mainstream, there will be prosperity all around. Secondly, corruption must be rooted out at all levels so that we have a vibrant and strong economy. All these are utopian thoughts, given the fact that we have ministers, officials and government servants, etc. many of whom are deeply corrupt and have lease regard for the welfare of the common man.
