seal the property of Koda and his kins
by ekvira gupte on Nov 19, 2009 10:24 AM

So to bring NPOs under the purview of the law an amendment to the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002 has been taken place. They must be wanting bribe from these small fishes too. When Koda was caught for 4000 cr scam a law with immediate effect should been implemented any Politician caught in scam would be thrown out of pary or that party be disolved and the politician be put behind the bar like telgi and all his property should be sealed along with his kins and be collected in the treasure for the welfar of its people.

What about educational Instituitions
by tls mani on Nov 19, 2009 10:22 AM

There are many educational trusts started by
corrupt Mps,Ministers and even MLA's and their relatives started with ill gotten money should alsocome under the ambit. MPA and MlA and Ministers should not get any privilege. Most of these colleges take capitation money and produce unemployable graduates and engineers
and if employed indulge in corruption

Good start

I do belive that this step will act as an effective tool to curb out corruption in the name of so-called social unlifting move. And do hope that govt will keep this step bold enough to remain under the Act for ever and act as vigilance against the probable way-in for unaccounted money channelled through trusts/ NGOs etc. Initiators should be strict and unbiased of the culprits name and fame, then only the purpose of such act be fulfilled. And the culprits should be taken to court of law within the fixed timeframe.

enforcement! enforcement is the key
by wizardo id on Nov 19, 2009 09:53 AM

none of the scamsters - the large ones like koda, reddy brothers have ever been caught and punished, and prosecuted. moreover, koda has links to several top leaders, and they are just dismissing prima facie evidence!

so all these laws will be for the small fish, not the mega corrupt ones!

>>"Good move"

right. taxation should fall on idle properties owned for specuation, like land, jewels and gold, by individuals or trusts, of relig or social types also. taxations on trade and hardearned incomes should be limited, to encourage economic dynamics and development.

to put in sans as a poem:
"aasti-vitte astu raajya-hreeh,
na aagame vaa pari-game"
