Its very shameful that Indian-made Generics Pharma Products facing such issues abroad, as
1) Relevant Regulatory Agencies inspects Plants for Quality periodically, there must not be issue of Sub-standard Quality Drugs.
2) Pharma Companies invests good wealth in developing international marketing and collaboration with foreign companies for promotion of products, so i don't believe that they left any lapses in following Legal Matters or Customs Issues.
3) Now-a-days, Companies in international Regulated markets, having a separate departments for handling issues relevant to IPR and Patents , so there is rare possibility of patent infringement also.
Despite these reasons if there are repeated seizures occurs than a Combined Meeting of Regulatory Agencies, Industries and Legal Experts must be done involving every aspect of these kind of matters.
