Re: long way by shridhar on Nov 21, 2009 11:06 AM the reason is that most of the business are controlled by gujjus. they really dont understand R&D. put 100 rs sell for 150rs make 50 rs profit immediately... this is bloddy psychology hindering the technological advancement. they dont want to even think of doing hardcore R&D forget about working & investing. they say when technology is available abroad they get & make money out of it (no matter even if its outdated there) this is what even tata's did... I have straight question.. Tata is undesputed leades in indian auto market.. but do they have developed a single automobile engine which is proudly made in india?
