well,it was an opportunity for india and IPL has seized it. i am really glad that they did it. india needs big brands, that can take on the world , give employment to indians etc
some of indian cos. need to learn from IPL...mainly BOLLYWOOD !!Bollywood has to lift its game..
plus some competitive cricket. The losers want to spoil it. The people who could not participate on this are criticizing this now. I know young children and the oldies- both love IPL and just dislike test cricket.
Dear readers please dont get fooled by this IPL circus. It is just a way of making money. Industrialists, filmstars, businessmen , board officials are all fooling the public in creating an empty image of supporting city teams by hallow advertisement. They are just copying various football leagues from the west. Football is a full lenght game of mass appeal played by more than 100 countries in the world. Whereas this IPl is a truncated version of 50 match over cricket payed by 9-10 test playing countries.And since India has nothing except cricket, these crooked buinessmen and filmstars are out to make money out of the sport. Please dont waste your time and money on this. If you really love cricket see a test match in Lords or Eden gardens.

All you stupid people do some productive instead of watching the stupid IPL or test match. "IPL is to get the rich more reicher and poor more poorer"

24. What's ur problem if someone's getting rich in legally acceptable manner. U can choose to watch whatever u want. That's ur freedom. Others have the same freedom too. Stop this silly envying . It leads to nowhere.
