I remember when they launched Indica they created same sort of hyesteria.What they do is with 1 Million booking(as excepted by Mr Ratan Tata himself) they will make some 300 crores by means of Rs.3000 booking amount only.Same thing they did with indica, booked in huge nos and cancelling most but forfeiting the booking amt that was some 5-6K that time. Grt business sense, hats off to you Mr Ratan Tata. I really admire you for these qualities.

kj, you are climbing the wrong tree. what else do you want? do you want tata to take bookings FOC, order material, produce cars and then go bankrupt when people cancel bookings en-mass?
Tata has already given the nation more than all the other businessmen, babus and netas put together.
When you want to look for fraud, look at netas, babus and their conmen.
Tata is THE most responsible corporate citizen of our country.

I told i admired him more than any other business man(for that matter any celebrity) in the country, just that his trick is old now. Also this is not a fraud or scam this is pure and simple business plan.

any business is for making money, if not then its called charity. He's a business man to make money. If you need a car then pay the money & book one. You can be assured that you're not cheated.

I Fully agree Indica had amny problems during launch there was no point in giving more defective product by abnormally increasing the production. It must be noted that today this is the car which made liveley hood of many taximen in INDIA for that segment INDICA is the most cheaper version Of course even INDIGO
