Take this serious
by Senso Johnson on Mar 12, 2009 11:58 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Lot of companies are sacking people . 5 of by close friends got sacked from different companies. Now you can image what is the situation . They are not giving any notice and all. IN a morning you are just out from office.
So get mentally prepared for this. Do some savings now so your can survive 2 or 3 months without salary

As Citizens, IT professional are contributing to the country/society like fellow citizens. They are paying taxes as per the norms. They are investing in indian financial Markets. What else you are expecting from them as an individual. What kind of contribution you are suggesting and what is your contribution to the society.

Very well said. IT people are the only ones who pay taxes correctly. People in most other professions are tax-evaders. If Indian banks, Insurance companies etc. are able to thrive, then the major cause is the IT industry.

venture into new segments

I'd love to see that. Rather than the sweat "keep hitting till it works" shops the current IT companies profited off.
